Baking Industrial Research, Trading and Supplying Ltd.

The Diabet Trade Baking Industry Research Trade and Service Ltd.was formed on 23 March 2004. The main activity of the company is the development of bakery products of new composition, the technology of their production, and marketing of the new products. Furthermore, production of dietetic food stuffs, finding domestic and foreign market for the products, giving technical advice on diet and technology of production of dietetic food.

In 2004 by means of support given to new enterprises, we got the opportunity to develop further the DIABET-MIX diabetic product line by introducing new diabetic whole-wheat products. (GVOP 3.3.1.project "Development of diabetic bakery products of new composition, and the technology of their production, following the eating habits of the EU".

We have taken out the patent for the results of the project.

Our aims:

  • developing new, dietetic baking products
  • marketing of these new products
  • producing and distributing dietetic products
  • giving professional dietetic advice
  • giving professional advice for producing dietetic foods

The Diabet Trade Ltd. together with the Cereal Research Non-profit Company was granted the Special Award of the Ministry of Agriculture of the XIV. Innovation Grand Prix Project as a reward for the achievements in the field of "Development and industrial application of  formulas in the production of diabetic bakery and pasta product line".
